On Wednesday 06/09/2023, the family of the seminary – Bait Jala; priests, sisters, and seminarians, welcomed a group of pilgrimages from Jordan, accompanied by Father Rifat Bader, the parish priest of Til’Al’Ali Parish. Together, they celebrated the holy sacrifice, which was presided over by Father Rifat. In his homily he began by referring to the psalm of this day’s readings “But I, like a fruitful olive tree in the house of God”, and he stated that a seminarian is like the olive tree in the field of God, where he learns how to grow through the prayer, as Jesus who “made his way to a lonely place” to pray.
احتفلت عائلة المعهد الإكليريكي المؤلّفة من كهنة وطلاب وراهبات، بالقدّاس الإلهي يوم الأربعاء 06/09/2023، مع مجموعة حجّاج من الأردنّ، برفقة الأب رفعت بدر كاهن رعيّة تلاع العلي، الّذي ترأس الذّبيحة الإلهية بحيث ابتدأ الأب رفعت عظته من مزمور اليوم والّذي يقول: “إِنّي مِثلُ زَيتونَةٍ ناضِرَةٍ في بَيتِ ٱلإِلَه” وبذلك أشار الى أنَّ الإكليريكي هو مثل الزّيتونة في حقل الرّبّ، وبحاجة أن ينمّي هذه الزّيتونة لتعطي ثمر وذلك من خلال الصّلاة على مثال يسوع المسيح الّذي كان “يعتزل في مكانٍ قفر” ليصلّي. وفي النّهاية اجتمعوا جميعاً في سهرةٍ أخوية مليئة بالسّرور والمحبّة.
