On Saturday 16th of March, 2024, Priests of the Seminary along with the seminarians visited churches and holy sites in the city of Jerusalem. The first stop was at the Garden of Gethsemane (the Agony), at the “Church of All Nations,” where the Franciscan monk, Father Diego Dalla Gasper, the director of the Agony Monastery, conducted a tour for the students and priests around the place. The tour included some historical information and spiritual reflections on the beginning of the sufferings of our Lord Jesus Christ. Then, the students and priests visited the Church of the Tomb of Saint Mary and the Church of the DOMINUS FLEVIT, where they were received by the Franciscan monk, Father Sebastian Aquileus. In the second half of the day, they visited the Church of the Dormition of Saint Mary, followed by a visit to the Church of Saint Peter in Gallicantu. This journey was marked by a spiritual essence as they explored these holy places, all within an atmosphere of joy shared among the priests and students of the seminary.
زار كهنة وطلاب المهعد الإكليريكي يوم السبت الموافق 16 آذار 2024، بعض من الكنائس والأماكن المقدسة في مدينة القدس. حيث كانت المحطة الأولى في بستان الزيتون (الجسمانية) “كنيسة الأمم”، وفيها قام الراهب الفرنسسكاني، الأب دييغو دالاّ غاسّا، مدير منسك الجسمانية، بعمل جولة للطلاب والكهنة حول المكان، تضمنت بعض المعلومات التاريخية والتأملات الروحية عن بداية الآلام لسيدنا يسوع المسيح. ثم زار الطلاب والكهنة كنيسة قبر القديسة مريم العذراء وكنيسة الدمعة، وكان في استقبالهم الراهب الفرنسيسكاني، الأب سيباستيان أقليميس. وفي النصف الثاني من النهار، تمت زيارة كنيسة رقاد القديسة مريم العذراء، تلاها زيارة كنيسة القديس بطرس (صياح الديك).
وقد إمتازت هذه الرحلة بالطابع الروحي في التعرّف على هذه الأماكن المقدسة في ظل أجواء الفرح بين كهنة وطلاب المعهد.
